NORTH CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA UNTIL 500 PM EDT...

A TORNADO WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF
NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA UNTIL 5 PM EDT...

WARREN... MCKEAN... POTTER...

ELK... CAMERON AND CLEARFIELD

AT 1145 AM EDT... DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS MOVING
ACROSS NORTHERN LAKE ERIE WATERS TOWARD NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA AND
SOUTHWEST NEW YORK STATE. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE INTO WARREN
AND MCKEAN COUNTIES BETWEEN 1 AND 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON.

TORNADOES... DAMAGING WINDS... LARGE HAIL... FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND
HEAVY RAINFALL ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS AS THEY MOVE INTO THE
WATCH AREA.

PERSONS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH AREA SHOULD KEEP ABREAST OF THE
LATEST WEATHER INFORMATION.

DO NOT USE YOUR CAR TO OUTRUN A TORNADO.  CARS ARE EASILY TOSSED
AROUND BY TORNADO WINDS.  IF YOU ARE CAUGHT IN THE PATH OF A
