AT 435 PM...DOPPLER RADAR IN CLEVELAND INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
OVER LAKE ERIE JUST WEST OF MENTOR ON THE LAKE. THE STORM WAS MOVING
EAST AT 40 MPH AND WILL MOVE THROUGH THE TOWNS OF MENTOR ON THE LAKE AND
MENTOR.

STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING >WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...

358 PM EDT WED SEP 28 1994

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS MOVING OVER NORTHEAST OHIO AND NORTHWEST
PENNSYLVANIA AT MID AFTERNOON.

AT 345 PM EDT CLEVELAND DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A COUPLE OF AREAS OF
STRONG THUNDERSTORMS. ONE OF THE STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS WAS OVER
SOUTHERN ERIE COUNTY IN NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA. THIS STORM DROPPED SOME
HALF INCH DIAMETER HAIL AT EDINBORO. ANOTHER CLUSTER OF STORMS WAS JUST
MOVING ONSHORE OVER EASTERN LAKE AND NORTHWEST ASHTABULA COUNTIES IN
NORTHEAST OHIO. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST AT ABOUT 40 MILES
AN HOUR.

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WITH BRIEF GUSTY WINDS TO 45 MILES AN HOUR AND
SMALL HAIL WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER THE EXTREME NORTHEAST COUNTIES OF OHIO
AND NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA UNTIL ABOUT 6 PM EDT.
