239 PM EDT TUE JUL 5 1994

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF NORTHWESTERN OHIO
UNTIL 8 PM EDT.

SOME CITIES IN THE WATCH AREA INCLUDE TOLEDO AND DEFIANCE.

AT 239 PM EDT CLEVELAND DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED NO PRECIPITATION IN THE
WATCH AREA. HOWEVER...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED OVER SOUTHERN
OHIO. THE STORMS WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHWEST AT 15 MILES AN HOUR.

THE AIRMASS ACROSS NORTHWEST OHIO IS VERY MOIST AND UNSTABLE...AND THERE
IS A GOOD CHANCE THAT SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS COULD DEVELOP ACROSS THE
WATCH AREA THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

PEOPLE IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH AREA SHOULD KEEP UP TO DATE ON THE
LATEST WEATHER INFORMATION...AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO SAFETY SHOULD
