OHZALL-130900- SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CLEVELAND OH 955 PM EDT TUE APR 12 1994 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR A PORTION OF WESTERN OHIO UNTIL 3AM EDT AND THE REMAINDER OF OHIO EXCEPT SOUTHEAST OHIO UNTIL 5AM EDT. SOME CITIES IN THE WATCH INCLUDE CINCINNATI...DAYTON...FINDLAY... TOLEDO...CLEVELAND...COLUMBUS...ZANESVILLE AND YOUNGSTOWN. WARM MOIST AND UNSTABLE AIR WAS IN PLACE ACROSS THE OHIO VALLEY THIS EVENING AND A COLD FRONT WAS MOVING THROUGH INDIANA. THUNDERSTORMS WERE RAPIDLY DEVELOPING ALONG THE FRONT THIS EVENING AND WERE MOVING INTO WESTERN AND SOUTHERN OHIO. THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP AND MOVE ACROSS THE STATE TONIGHT. VERY HEAVY RAINFALL...STRONG WINDS AND HAIL ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS AS THEY MOVE ACROSS THE STATE.
