FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  200 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHWEST VERMONT
 
   ...RUTLAND COUNTY
 
THE FLOOD WARNING FOR RUTLAND COUNTY HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL 2 PM.
AT 4 AM...THE OTTER CREEK WAS STILL 1 AND 1/2 FEET OVER ITS FLOOD
STAGE...BUT HAD STARTED TO RECEDE IN CENTER RUTLAND. THE CREEK SHOULD
RETURN TO ITS BANKS IN THE RUTLAND AREA THIS AFTERNOON.
 
FURTHER DOWNSTREAM...ESPECIALLY ALONG THE USUAL PROBLEM SPOTS SUCH AS
ROUTE 73 IN BRANDON...WATER LEVELS WILL REMAIN HIGH TODAY.
 
A FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS
