AT 340 PM...RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS NEAR ALMA AND NELSON OR ABOUT 50 MILES NORTHWEST OF LA CROSSE. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST SOUTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL BE AFFECTING AREAS TO THE NORTH AND WEST OF LA CROSSE BETWEEN 345 AND 600 PM. HEAVY RAINS AND DEADLY LIGHTNING WILL OCCUR WITH THESE STORMS AND THERE IS ALSO A CHANCE OF SMALL HAIL AND BRIEF GUSTY WINDS.
