THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MUSKEGON MI  HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  930 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN WEST CENTRAL LOWER MICHIGAN
 
   ...EASTERN MUSKEGON COUNTY
 
AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS OF LAKE MICHIGAN.
INCLUDING THE WATERS OF GRAND TRAVERSE BAY.
 
AT 835 PM... A THUNDERSTORM PASEED THROUGH MUSKEGON WITH WINDS 51 MILES
AN HOUR AND ONE HALF INCH DIAMETER HAIL. THE STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST
AT 45 MILES AN HOUR AND WAS INTENSIFYING. THE SEVERE THUNDERSOTM WILL
PASS THROUGH GRANT... 20 MILES NORTHEAST OF MUSKEGON BY 850 PM.
 
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD
PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND
DEADLY LIGHTNING.  PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER...
PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
