SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  600 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

AT 522 AM EDT... WEATHER RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
EXTENDING FROM JUST WEST OF BIG RAPIDS TO CROTON IN EASTERN NEWAYGO
COUNTY. THE LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 45
MILES AN HOUR AND WILL REACH BIG RAPIDS AT 530 AM AND ALTONA BY 545 AM.
 
DAMAGE WAS REPORTED IN NEWAYGO COUNTY DUE TO STRONG WINDS.
 
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
