NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RICHMOND VA
440 PM EDT FRI APR 29 1994

AT 425 PM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS
DEVELOPING OVER WESTERN BUCKINGHAM COUNTY. THESE STORMS HAVE A HISTORY
OF PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME AS WELL AS
SMALL HAIL.

OTHER THUNDERSTORMS WERE SHOWN OVER WESTERN DINWIDDIE...AS WELL AS
CUMBERLAND AMELIA AND WESTERN HANOVER. STORM MOVEMENT WAS SLOWLY TO THE
NORTHEAST. AS A RESULT PONDING OF WATER ON ROADS AND LOW LYING AREAS IS
POSSIBLE WITH ANY OF THESE STORMS.
