WEATHER HAS EXITED CLAY AND WASHINGTON COUNTIES.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHERN RILEY AND
SOUTHERN MARSHALL HAS EXPIRED...

THUNDERSTORMS OVER NORTHEAST KANSAS HAVE SHOWN SOME DECREASE IN
INTENSITY...FOR THE TIME BEING BUT WERE STILL CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
VERY HEAVY RAINS...GUSTY WINDS OF 40 TO 50 MPH...POSSIBLE SOME
SMALL HAIL AND FREQUENT DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.

AT 925 MPH RADAR HAD THE LEADING EDGE OF THUNDERSTORMS FROM ABOUT
25 MILES WEST OF HIAWATHA NEAR SENECA TO ABOUT 5 MILES WEST OF
JUNCTION CITY.

THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS WERE 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF SENECA
AND ABOUT 25 MILES NORTHEAST OF MANHATTAN NEAR BLAINE.

CURRENT MOVEMENT WOULD HAVE THE STORMS ON A LINE FROM THE HIAWATHA
VICINITY TO ABOUT 20 MILES WEST OF TOPEKA BY AROUND 1030 PM.

TORNADO WATCHES COVER A GOOD PORTION OF NORTHEAST KANSAS THROUGH
2 AM CDT AND A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS POSTED OVERNIGHT FOR ALL OF
NORTHEAST KANSAS.

PERSONS IN NORTHEAST KANSAS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR THREATENING WEATHER
AND HAVE A PLAN FOR SEEKING SHELTER.  ALSO MOTORISTS SHOULD BE ALERT
FOR WATER OVER RAODWAYS.
