AT 215 PM EDT...WEATHER RADAR SHOWED SEVERAL AREA OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS IN WESTERN VIRGINIA. A CLUSTER OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED IN HIGHLAND AND BATH COUNTIES. A SECOND
CLUSTER OF STORMS WERE LOCATED IN PATRICK...HENRY AND PITTSLYVANIA
COUNTIES. THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED JUST SOUTHWEST OF
STUART IN SOUTHCENTRAL PATRICK COUNTY...NEAR LEATHERWOOD IN NORTHEAST
HENRY COUNTY...NEAR SWANSONVILLE IN WEST CENTRAL PITTSLYVANIA COUNTY
AND NEAR THE JUNCTION OF GREENBRIER...ALLEGHANY AND BATH COUNTIES.
THE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE WEST AT 15 MPH.
