FLOOD WARNING FOR SMALL STREAMS AND CREEKS EFFECTIVE UNTIL  345 AM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN WEST MARYLAND
 
   ...ALLEGANY COUNTY
 
 
IN EAST WEST VIRGINIA
 
   ...HAMPSHIRE COUNTY
 
HEAVY RAINS HAVE OCCURRED ACROSS MUCH OF ALLEGANY MARYLAND AND HAMPSHIRE
COUNTY WEST VIRGINIA. MINOR FLOODING PROBLEMS ARE ALREADY OCCURRING
ACROSS ALLEGANY COUNTY. A TELEMETERED RAIN GAGE IN EASTERN HAMPSHIRE
COUNTY REPORTS OVER 3 INCHES OF RAIN. RADAR IS SHOWING MORE RAINS MOVING
BACK OVER THESE AREAS. HEAVY RAINS HAVE OCCURRED OVER BEDFORD COUNTY
PENNSYLVANIA AND THE RUNOFF FROM THESS RAINS WILL FLOW INTO ALLEGANY
COUNTY...ESPECIALLY ALONG WILLS CREEK IN THE WESTERN PART OF THE COUNTY
AND TOWN CREEK IN THE EASTERN SECTION OF ALLEGANY COUNTY.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS. IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY. MOVE UP
TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN
