655 PM CDT SAT JUL 24 1993

...TORNADO WATCH FOR DODGE AND SAUNDERS COUNTY AND POINTS WEST AND SOUTH
UNTIL MIDNIGHT...

WEATHER SERVICE RADAR AT 655 PM CDT INDICATED SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS
DEVELOPING ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM NEAR ASHLAND SOUTHWEST THROUGH
LINCOLN TO WEST OF BEATRICE.  THESE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT
35 MPH...AND WILL AFFECT PORTIONS OF THE OMAHA AND COUNCIL BLUFFS
METROPOLITAN AREAS AND AREAS SOUTH OF OMAHA BY 800 PM.

SOME OF THE THUNDERSTORMS MAY BECOME SEVERE BY MID EVENING AND BE
ACCOMPANIED BY STRONG DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...AND POSSIBLE
TORNADOES.

ALL INTERESTS IN EASTERN NEBRASKA...ESPECIALLY IN THE OMAHA METROPOLITAN
AREA AND POINTS SOUTH SHOULD KEEP ABREAST OF THE LATEST WEATHER
INFORMATION BY LISTENING TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR TO LOCAL RADIO OR
TELEVISION BROADCASTS.  BE PREPARED TO SEEK SHELTER INDOORS
IMBMEDIATELY IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES.
