THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MINNEAPOLIS HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING         EFFECTIVE UNTIL  100 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN CENTRAL MINNESOTA
 
   ...RENVILLE COUNTY
 
AT 1100 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED TORRENTIAL RAINS ENTERING RENVILLE
COUNTY ONCE AGAIN. AT 1145 PM CDT A REPORT OF WATER OVER HIGHWAY 19 WAS
RECEIVED. THIS WOULD BE JUST EAST OF MORTON. THE CITY OF FRANKLIN
HAD RECEIVED 3.4 INCHES OF RAIN UP TO 1030 PM.
 
NUMEROUS REPORTS OF FLOODING IN THE OLIVIA AREA HAVE BEEN RECEIVED.
THIS WOULD BE ABOUT 25 MILE NORTH OF REDWOOD FALLS.
 
FLOOD WATERS ARE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.  DRIVING THROUGH HIGH WATER
IS THE WORST THING YOU CAN DO.  TWO FEET OF MOVING WATER IS
ENOUGH TO CARRY AWAY MOST CARS.  IF YOUR CAR BECOMES STALLED
IN HIGH WATER...ABANDON IT IMMEDTIATELY.
