AT 610 PM CDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR IN TUPELO INDICATED AN
ISOLATED STRONG THUNDERSTORM IN SOUTHWEST PONTOTOC COUNTY IN NORTHEAST
MISSISSIPPI. THIS STORM IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING VERY HEAVY
RAIN...FREQUENT LIGHTNING...STRONG GUSTY WINDS...AND POSSIBLY SOME HAIL.
THIS STORM IS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL LIKELY PASS
THROUGH TUPELO BETWEEN 630 AND 700 PM CDT.

RESIDENTS IN AND NEAR LEE COUNTY SHOULD BE READY TO TAKE SHELTER IF
THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES.

ELSEWHERE...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS
