IN EAST CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI ...OKTIBBEHA COUNTY IN NORTHEAST MISSISSIPPI ...LEE COUNTY...PONTOTOC COUNTY AT 5 30 PM CST NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM NEAR PONTOTOC TO LOUISVILLE MISSISSIPPI. THE SNOW ADVISORY ISSUED EARLIER THIS MORNING FOR NORTH MIDDLE
AND NORTHWEST TENNESSEE HAS BEEN ALLOWED TO EXPIRE. ABOUT ONE
TO THREE INCHES OF SNOW FELL ACROSS NORTH MIDDLE AND NORTHWEST
TENNESSEE THIS MORNING WITH TWO INCHES OF SNOW ON THE THE GROUND
AT NASHVILLE BY NOON.
HOWEVER SNOW IN THIS REGION HAS BEEN MIXING WITH RAIN AND SLEET
AS TEMPERATURES SLOWLY WARM SO LITTLE FURTHER ACCUMULATIONS
ARE EXPECTED. BY LATE THIS AFTERNOON ALL PRECIPITAION OVER WESTERN
AND MIDDLE TENNESSEE WILL BE IN THE FORM OF RAIN.
NEVERTHELESS MANY ROADS WILL BE SLIPPERY THIS AFTERNOON DUE
TO THE EARLIER SNOWFALL...ESPECIALLY OVER BRIDGES AND
OVERPASSES. PERSONS DRIVING SHOULD THEREFORE EXERCISE EXTREME
