AT 430 PM...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN WERE SHOWN FROM THE EUNICE AREA...TO BETWEEN ALEXANDRIA AND BATON ROUGE...TO THE NATCHEZ MISSISSIPPI AREA. PERSONS IN ACADIA AND RAPIDES PARISHES SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR STRONG GUSTY WINDS...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING...AND POSSIBLY SOME SMALL HAIL FROM NOW UNTIL 5:30 PM CST THIS THURSDAY EVENING. ELSEWHERE...RAIN AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WAS LOCATED OVER G ULF FROM 20 TO BEYOND 100 MILES OFFSHORE FROM CAMERON TO ATCHAFALAYA BAY. MOVEMENT WAS SOUTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.
