NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NORTH PLATTE NE
832 PM CDT MON JUL 12 1993

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR SOUTHWEST AND
   WEST CENTRAL NEBRASKA UNTIL 11 PM MDT OR MIDNIGHT CDT...

AT 830 PM CDT...ONLY A FEW LIGHT SHOWERS WERE OVER SOUTHWEST
AND WEST CENTRAL NEBRASKA.  LIGHT SHOWERS WERE LOCATED IN
THE VICINITY OF PALISADE AND STRATTON WHICH ARE 50 MILES
SOUTH SOUTHWEST AND 65 MILES SOUTH SOUTHWEST OF NORTH PLATTE.
OTHER LIGHT SHOWERS WERE LOCATED TO THE WEST AND NORTHWEST
OF ARTHUR WHICH IS 55 MILES WEST NORTHWEST OF NORTH PLATTE.
THE SHOWERS WERE MOVING EAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH MEANS THUNDERSTORMS WITH LARGE
HAIL..DAMAGING WINDS AND VERY HEAVY RAIN MAY DEVELOP.  PERSONS
