AT 120 PM CST...NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUED TO MOVE NORTHEAST AT 30
MILES AN HOUR ACROSS CENTRAL...AND SECTIONS OF NORTH MISSISSIPPI.  THE
STRONGEST STORMS WERE OVER WASHINGTON...SUNFLOWER...LEFLORE...HOLMES...
HINDS...MADISON..AND YAZOO COUNTIES.  THESE STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS WERE
LIKELY PRODUCING SMALL HAIL...FREQUENT CLOUD-TO-GROUND LIGHTNING...HEAVY
RAINFALL...AND GUSTY WINDS.

THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUED TO MOVE NORTHEASTWARD FARTHER INTO NORTH

TORNADO WATCH NUMBER 73 WHICH INCLUDES ALL COUNTIES IN EAST CENTRAL
MISSISSIPPI AND SUMTER AND CHOCTAW COUNTIES IN EXTREME WEST CENTRAL
ALABAMA IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM.

AT 130 PM CST MERIDIAN WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A LARGE AREA OF RAIN AND
VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ALONG AND NORTH OF A LINE FROM RAYMOND TO BAY
SPRINGS MISSISSIPPI TO GROVE HILL ALABAMA.  THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS
WERE INDICATED NEAR JACKSON AND NORTHWEST OF NEWTON MISSISSIPPI.

ALSO...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED IN SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI AND
SOUTHWEST ALABAMA.

THE RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS W"ERE MOVING NORTH AT 35 MPH.

AT 215 PM CST...A LARGE AREA OF RAIN AND EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS
CONTINUED TO MOVE NORTHEASTWARD AT 25 MPH ACROSS EAST-CENTRAL AND NORTH
MISSISSIPPI.  OTHER SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE NOTED OVER
SECTIONS OF SOUTHWEST AND SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI.  THE STRONGEST STORMS
GENERALLY EXTENDED FROM CANTON TO OXFORD.

THESE STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS WERE PRODUCING BRIEF PERIODS OF HEAVY
RAIN...FREQUENT CLOUD-TO-GROUND LIGHTNING...GUSTY WINDS AND POSSIBLY
SOME SMALL HAIL.

THE LATEST SURFAChE DATA...NUMERICAL MODELS AND SATELLITE IMAGERY
INDICATED A COLD FRONT WILL BE MOVING EASTWARD INTO MISSISSIPPI
TONIGHT.  ANOTHER ROUND OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED

INTENSIFY.  MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR.
