910 AM CDT MON JUL 12 1993

...THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN MOVING THROUGH SMITH COUNTY...

AT 908 AM CDT...THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN HAD MNOVED BACK INTO
SMITH COUNTY. SINCE MANY LOCATIONS HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED A GOOD SOAKING
EARLIER THIS MORNING...PONDING OF WATER ON ROADS AND LOW LYING AREAS
WILL LIKELY OCCUR. IT IS ESTIMATED THAT THE EASTERN SECTIONS OF SMITH
COUNTY HAVE MEASURED OVER 2 INCHES OF RAIN SINCE 5 AM CDT.  IF THE HEAVY
RAIN CONTINUES MUCH LONGER...A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MAY HAVE TO BE
ISSUED.

THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE DRIFTING SLOWLY SOUTH. IF YOU LIVE IN AN AREA
KNOWN FOR FLASHING FLOODING OR WHERE WATER RISES RAPIDLY...BE ALERT AND
BE PREPARED TO HEAD FOR HIGHER GROUND IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED OR IF A
WARNING IS ISSUED.
