NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SOUTH BEND IN 725 AM EST MON JUN 14 1993 ...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO ROLL ACROSS MICHIANA... AT 720 AM EST/820 AM EDT...RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF STRONG STORMS EXTENDING FROM 45 MILES NORTHEAST OF SOUTH BEND...NEAR MENDON MICHIGAN ...TO 10 MILES EAST OF ELKHART...AND THEN THROUGH ROCHESTER INDIANA. THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED FROM JUST EAST OF GOSHEN TO 10 MILES WEST OF WARSAW. THESE STORMS PRODUCED VERY HEAVY RAIN...WIND GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH...AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING AS THEY PASSED THROUGH SOUTH BEND AND ELKHART.
