SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  815 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS
 
   ...LAWRENCE COUNTY...RICHLAND COUNTY...WAYNE COUNTY
 
AT 729 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 20 MILES NORTHEAST
OF MT VERNON ILLINOIS NEAR CISNE. ANOTHER SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS
LOCATED NEAR OLNEY ILLINOIS.
 
THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 30 TO 35 MPH AND WILL MOVE NEAR
MT ERIE AND NEAR SUMNER ILLINOIS BY 740 PM CDT. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL
LIKELY PRODUCE LARGE DAMAGING HAIL. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THE STORMS
MOVE INTO A STURDY SHELTER AND REMAIN THERE UNTIL THE STORMS HAVE ENDED.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 58
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
