AT 245 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN ALONG THE INDIANA/ILLINOIS STATE BORDER FROM GARY TO TERRE HAUTE INDIANA. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH. HEAVY DOWNPOURS FROM THESE STORMS WILL CAUSE PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS AND IN AREAS OF POOR DRAINAGE ACROSS NEWTON...JASPER...AND BENTON COUNTIES IN NORTHWEST INDIANA.
