AT 833 PM...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINS AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING
WERE SCATTERED OVER AN AREA 50 MILES WIDE FROM 30 MILES WEST OF CHANUTE TO 15
MILES SOUTHWEST OF FT SCOTT.

THESE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

IF YOU LIVE IN CHANUTE..IOLA..FT SCOTT OR PITTSBURG BE ALERT TO THESE STORMS
AND BE READY SEEK SAFE SHELTER.

OVERALL..SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE SCATTERED EAST OF A LINE FROM EMPORIA
TO 25 MILES EAST OF ARKANSAS CITY.

MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEASHT AT 15 MPH.
