THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MADISON HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1145 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN
 
   ...GREEN COUNTY
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS FLOODING IS IMMINENT. TAKE NECESSARY
PRECAUTIONS AS REQUIRED.
 
VERY HEAVY RAINS HAVE BEEN FALLING ACROSS GREEN COUNTY FOR THE PAST
HOUR.  RAIN FROM THE PREVIOUS SEVERAL DAYS HAS LEFT SOILS SATURATED WITH
WATER.  THE GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTED THAT SEVERAL ROADS ARE COVERED
WITH WATER AND MANY STREAMS ARE SPILLING OUT OF THEIR BANKS.
 
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
