...THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN ARE APPROACHING NORTHWEST
   KANSAS...

AT 130 PM MDT (230 PM CDT)...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY
RAIN WERE LOCATED 7 MILES NORTH AND 7 MILES SOUTH OF BURLINGTON
COLORADO. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR. AT
PRESENT MOVEMENT...THESE STORMS WILL AFFECT KANORADO...GOODLAND
AND NORTHERN WALLACE COUNTY IN THE NEXT HOUR. PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF
THESE STORMS CAN EXPECT VERY HEAVY RAIN...GUSTY WINDS AND SMALL
HAIL.

OTHER SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED FROM  NORTH
OF YUMA COLORADO NORTH INTO THE IDALIA AREA. MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT
30 MILES AN HOUR.

AT 235 PM MDT..THUNDERSTORMS CONTAINING LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS AND POSSIBLE
SMALL HAIL CONTINUED OVER EASTERN COLORADO AND A SMALL PART OF WESTERN
KANSAS. THE STORMS EXTENDED FROM ABOUT 80 MILES SOUTHWEST OF GOODLAND TO
JUST WEST OF GOODLAND NEAR THE COLORADO BORDER TO 125 MILES NORTH OF
GOODLAND.

THE STRONG STORMS WERE ABOUT 65 MILES SOUTHWEST OF GOODLAND 60 MILES DUE
WEST OF GOODLAND..THESE TWO STORMS ARE THE ONES MOST LIKELY TO CONTAIN
HAIL.

THE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 15 MPH AND WILL MOVE INTO MAINLY SHERMAN
AND CHEYENNE COUNTIES OF FAR NORTHWEST KANSAS BETWEEN 245 PM AND 3 PM
MDT.

PERSONS IN FAR NORTHWEST KANSAS SHOULD BE ALERT TO THE CHANGING WEATHER
AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS IF NEEDED.

...THUNDERSTORM MOVING INTO WEST CENTRAL KANSAS...

AT 310 PM...A THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WAS LOCATED ABOUT 20
MILES NORTHWEST OF SHARON SPRINGS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 10 TO 15 MPH.
THIS STORM WILL MOVE TO ABOUT 10 MILES NORTH OF SHARON SPRINGS BY 4 PM.
OTHER THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WERE LOCATED OVER EASTERN
COLORADO 10 TO 20 MILES SOUTHWEST OF BURLINGTON. THE STORMS WERE MOVING
TO THE EAST AT 15 MPH.  CURRENT INDICATIONS ARE THAT THE THUNDERSTORMS
WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP OVER MAINLY THE SOUTHERN PORTION OF NORTHWEST
KANSAS8 FOR THE NEXT FEW HOURS.
