SYNOPSIS:  MOIST WARM AIR OVER THE REGION COMBINED WITH FRONTAL
SYSTEMS WILL PRODUCE SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS BY LATE AFTERNOON OVER
NORTHWEST KANSAS.  THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS

KANSAS FROM 3 PM CDT UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...

AT 2 PM MDT (3 PM CDT) NO SEVERE WEATHER WAS OCCURRING ACROSS
NORTHWEST KANSAS.   STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING IN EASTERN
COLORADO ABOUT 50 TO 100 MILES WEST OF GOODLAND KANSAS.  THESE
STORMS WERE MOVING EAST OR NORTHEAST AT AROUND 20 MPH AND WILL
LIKELY MOVE INTO NORTHWEST KANSAS BY AROUND 4 PM MDT.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IN A HOME OR
BUSINESS IS AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE. AVOID
