IN SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA

AT 640 THIS EVENING...RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO LOCATED 5 MILES
SOUTH OF HENDLEY...OR ABOUT 45 MILES SOUTHWEST OF HOLDREGE.
 
THIS TORNADO WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR.  SOME TOWNS IN
THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO ARE  HENDLEY...AND BEAVER CITY.
 
 
 
 
PERSONS IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD TAKE SHELTER IN A BASEMENT IF
AVAILABLE.  OTHERWISE G"O TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR.  CARS AND MOBILE HOMES SHOULD BE ABANDONED.
