640 PM CDT FRI MAY 7 1993

AT 630 PM CDT...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUED TO DEVELOP OVER SOUTHEAST
NORTH DAKOTA. THE STRONGEST STORM WAS LOCATED 20 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
FARGO WEST OF KINDRED. THIS STORM IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING VERY HEAVY
RAINS...STRONG WINDS AND HAIL. MOVEMENT WAS TO THE NORTH AT AROUND
40 MILES AN HOUR...AND THE STORM WILL MOVE INTO THE CHAFFEE...
CASSELTON...AND BUFFALO AREAS BY 7 PM.

ANOTHER STRONG STORM WAS LOCATED 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF WAHPETON.
STRONG WINDS AND HAIL ARE ALSO POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM.

ELSEWHERE...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED FROM EASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA
UP INTO NORTHWEST MINNESOTA. MOVEMENT OF ALL THE PRECIPITATION WAS TO
THE NORTH AT 40 MILES AN HOUR.  PERSONS SHOULD BE PREPARED TO TAKE COVER
IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES.  STAY TUNED TO LOCAL RADIO AND TELEVISION
STATIONS...AS WELL AS NOAA WEATHER RADIO FOR LATER STATEMENTS.
