AT 200 PM EDT WEATHER SERVICE RADARS INDICATED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS MOVING ACROSS NORTHWEST GEORGIA. THE LINE EXTENDED FROM NEAR DAWSONVILLE IN DAWSON COUNTY TO LAGRANGE IN TROUP COUNTY. THE STRONGER OF THESE STORMS WERE NEAR AUSTELL IN COBB COUNTY... AND NORTHWEST OF NEWNAN ON THE CARROL COUNTY - COWETA COUNTY LINE. THE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 15 MPH. THESE STORMS ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING STRONG GUSTY WINDS...DEADLY LIGHTNING...HEAVY RAIN AND POSSIBLY SMALL HAIL.
