AT 250 PM CHATTANOOGA WEATHER RADAR SHOWED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
OVER SOUTHERN AND WESTERN HAMILTON COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST TENNESSEE.
THE THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING SLOWLY TO THE NORTHEAST.
 
REPORTS WERE RECEIVED FROM FT OGLETHORPE GEORGIA OF DIME SIZE
HAIL.  TREES HAVE BEEN BLOWN DOWN IN THE THE HIXSON AREA OF
CHATTANOOGA.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
