...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 AM CDT FOR
NORTH-CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST MISSOURI...

AT 1140 PM...A LINE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED FROM SOUTHEAST
KANSAS NEAR CHANUTE...NORTHEAST TO 30 MILES SOUTHEAST OF KANSAS CITY...
TO 40 MILES EAST OF ST. JOSEPH...AND ACROSS NORTH-CENTRAL MISSOURI INTO
SOUTH-CENTRAL IOWA.  A FEW OF THE STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED
OVER NORTH-CENTRAL MISSOURI NEAR GALLATIN...JAMESPORT...AND MILAN IN
DAVIESS...GRUNDY...AND SULLIVAN COUNTIES.  ANOTHER STRONG THUNDERSTORM
WAS LOCATED 25 TO 30 MILES EAST-SOUTHEAST OF THE KANSAS CITY METRO AREA.
THESE STORMS WERE ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINS...STRONG
WINDS...SMALL HAIL...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING.

MOVEMENT WAS TO THE EAST-SOUTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR.

NO SEVERE WEATHER IS OCCURRING AT THIS TIME...BUT CONDITIONS REMAIN
FAVORABLE FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER PARTS OF NORTH-CENTRAL MISSOURI.
PERSONS IN THAT AREA SHOULD REMAIN ALERT FOR THREATENING WEATHER
