AT 605 PM A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS STRTECHED FROM 20 MILES WEST OF
WATERLOO NEAR THE TOWN OF PARKERSBURG...TO GRUNDY CENTER...TO NEAR
MARSHALLTOWN.  THESE STORMS WERE PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINS...DEADLY
LIGHTNING...STRONG GUSTY WINDS...AND POSSIBLE SMALL HAIL.  MOVEMENT
WAS TO THE NORTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL AFFECT THE TOWNS
OF PARKERSBURG...GRUNDY CENTER AND REINBECK BY 7PM.

A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR MOST OF NORTHEAST AND NORTH CENTRAL
IOWA UNTIL 10 PM THIS EVENING.  ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT.  A TORNADO WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS
ARE ALSO FAVORABLE FOR TORNADOES TO DEVELOP.
