DOPPLER RADAR FROM DODGE CITY AT 635 PM SHOWED A NARROW BAND OF THUNDERSTORMS ABOUT 15 MILES WIDE STRETCHING FROM ELKHART NORTH TO LEOTI. LEOTI IS 25 WEST OF SCOTT CITY. FROM LEOTI THE BAND OF STORMS TURNS NORTHEAST AND STRETCHES ALONG A COLD FRONT TO CONCORDIA KANSAS. THE ALMOST SOLID LINE OF STORMS ALONG THIS BAND WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 5 TO 10 MPH. SOME CITIES AHEAD OF THE STORMS PATH INCLUDE ULYSSES ...HOLCOMB AND SCOTT CITY. THESE CITIES CAN EXPECT THE STORMS TO ARRIVE AROUND 7:30 PM AND ESPECIALLY THE LAKIN AREA CAN EXPECT VERY HEAVY RAIN.
