OHZALL-082230- SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT...CORRECTION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CLEVELAND OH 448 PM EDT TUE JUN 8 1993 A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR MOST OF THE NORTHERN TWO-THIRDS OF OHIO UNTIL 10 PM EDT....EXCEPT FOR PARTS OF THE CENTRAL LAKESHORE AND ALL OF THE EAST LAKESHORE COUNTIES. SOME CITIES IN THE WATCH AREA INCLUDE COLUMBUS...LIMA...DAYTON... SANDUSKY...FINDLAY...TOLEDO...AKRON...CANTON...STEUBENVILLE... YOUNGSTOWN...MANSFIELD...AND MARIETTA. AT 435 PM...RADAR SHOWED SCATTERED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER EAST CENTRAL OHIO TO THE SOUTHEAST OF CANTON. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR HARRISON AND JEFFERSON COUNTIES UNTIL 5 PM. AN ISOLATED STRONG THUNDERSTORM HAD DEVELPED OVER NORTH CENTRAL OHIO TO THE NORTH OF MANSFIELD. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AROUND 40 MPH. > A LARGE COMPLEX OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED OVER NORTHEAST INDIANA AROUND 3 PM WHICH HAS NOW MOVED INTO NORTHWEST OHIO.
