SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL NOON EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN NORTHEAST OHIO

AND THE ADJACENT WATERS OF LAKE ERIE
 
 
AT 1105 AM EDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM OVER LAKE ERIE JUST OFFSHORE OF CLEVELAND. THIS STORM WAS
MOVING EAST AT 45 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL MOVE INTO NORTHEASTERN CUYAHOGA
COUNTY BY 1115 AM EDT.
 
THE SHIP FRED WHITE REPORTED A WIND GUST OF 60 MILES AN HOUR JUST
OFFSHORE CLEVELAND AT 11 AM.
 
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS... FREQUENT
LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAINS WHICH MAY CAUSE FLOODING OF DRAINAGE
SYSTEMS. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO
