THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN CARIBOU HAS EXTENDED THE FLOOD
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1100 AM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
LOCATION...

IN NORTHERN MAINE

   ...SOUTHERN AROOSTOOK COUNTY...

AT 730 AM...THE HOULTON STATE POLICE HAVE REPORTED THAT ROUTE 2 IN

HAYNESVILLE REMAINS UNDER WATER AND THE FERRY ROAD IS ALSO FLOODED
AND IMPASSABLE.  RIVER LEVELS IN THE AREA ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN THE
SAME FOR THE NEXT FEW HOURS BEFORE RECEEDING LATER TODAY.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER
COVERS THE ROAD.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR
VEHICPLE TO CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED IMMEDIATELY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND QUICKLY.
