THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BURLINGTON VT HAS EXTENDED THE
FLOOD WARNING FOR THE OTTER CREEK IN RUTLAND COUNTY UNTIL 300 PM.

FLOODING FROM THE OTTER CREEK WILL CONTINUE TODAY. IN CLARENDON...
ALFRECIA ROAD WAS CLOSED DUE TO HIGH WATER. STATE POLICE ALSO REPORTED
THAT THERE WAS WATER OVER DORR DRIVE IN CLARENDON. CREEK ROAD FROM WALKER
MOUNTAIN ROAD SOUTH TO WALLINGFORD...AND DEPOT STREET IN PITTSFORD /NORTH
OF RUTLAND/ WERE ALSO CLOSED.

WATER LEVELS WILL BEGIN TO FALL THIS MORNING...BUT THESE ROADS WILL
LIKELY REMAIN CLOSED.  FLOODING COULD ALSO AFFECT AREAS ALONG THE
OTTER CREEK FURTHER NORTH...ESPECIALLY ROUTE 73 FROM BRANDON TO SUDBURY.
IF YOU LIVE ANYWHERE ALONG THE OTTER CREEK IN RUTLAND COUNTY...
WATCH FOR RISING WATER AND MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IF NECESSARY.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS A FLOODE.D ROADWAY.
