...THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUING OVER DOUGLAS COUNTY...

AT 356 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF
THUNDERSTORMS PERSISTING OVER DOUGLAS COUNTY STRETCHING FROM NEAR
DECKERS AND WEST CREEK TO JUST SOUTH OF CASTLE ROCK INTO THE FRANKTOWN
AREA.  THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE LOCATED ABOUT 4 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
CASTLE ROCK AND 5 MILES WEST OF LARKSPUR.  THE STORMS WERE SLOWLY MOVING
EAST AROUND 10 MILES AN HOUR.

HEAVY RAIN HAS BEEN INDICATED BY RADAR WITH AMOUNTS IN THE CASTLE ROCK
AREA POSSIBLY EXCEEDING 1 INCH.  HAIL HAS ALSO ACCOMPANIED SOME OF THE
STRONGER STORMS.

BE PREPARED FOR WATER PONDING ON ROAD SURFACES AND SMALL CREEKS FILLING
RAPIDLY.  IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES YOUR LOCATION...MOVE TO A
PLACE OF SAFETY.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF EASTERN COLORADO
