...A DENSE FOG ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE CENTRAL SOUTHERN TIER
INCLUDING THE ELMIRA CORNING AREA...

MOIST AIR PASSING OVER THE COLD GROUND HAS CAUSED DENSE FOG TO FORM
ACROSS PARTS OF THE AREA...ESPECIALLY THE CENTRAL SOUTHERN TIER COUNTIES.

THE FOG HAS REDUCED THE VISIBILITY TO ZERO AT THE ITHACA AIRPORT...AND
NEAR ZERO IN MANY OTHER PLACES.

IF YOU WILL BE OUT TRAVELING THIS EVENING...WATCH FOR SUDDEN CHANGES IN
THE VISIBLITY.  THE FOG MAY ALSO MAKE IT DIFFICULT TO SEE WATER ON THE
ROAD...SO IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO REDUCE YOUR SPEED.
