SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE REDEVELOPING IN SOUTH CENTRAL NEVADA THIS AFTERNOON. FEEDING THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...IS MOISTURE FROM THE REMNANTS OF DARBY. WEATHER RADAR...SATELLITE IMAGERY...AND LIGHTNING DETECTION SENSORS AT 215 PM THIS AFTERNOON...INDICATED AN AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING IN ESMERALDA COUNTY TO THE WEST OF GOLDFIELD. OTHER STORMS WERE INDICATED OVER THE SAN ANTONIO MOUNTAINS NORTH OF TONOPAH IN NYE COUNTY. THE STORMS WILL COUNTINUE TO DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON AND SPREAD TO THE EAST. ESMERALDA...AND THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN SECTIONS OF NYE AND LINCOLN COUNTIES WILL BE UNDER THE GUN THUNDERSTORM-WISE FOR THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON...EVENING...AND POSSIBLY UNTIL AFTER MIDNIGHT. OTHER SECTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL AND EXTREME SOUTHERN NEVADA WILL ONLY HAVE ISOLATED SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY...MAINLY TO THE NORTH OF LAS VEGAS. IF YOU LIVE IN THIS AREA OR PLAN TO VISIT OR TRAVEL THROUGH THIS PART OF NEVADA TODAY OR TONIGHT...BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A SAFE PLACE IF THUNDERSTORMS THREATEN.
