THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TUCSON ARIZONA HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  545 PM MST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTHEAST ARIZONA

   ...SOUTHEASTERN COCHISE COUNTY

AT 435 PM MST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A VERY STRONG
THUNDERSTORM OCCURRING IN SOUTHEAST COCHISE COUNTY...PRIMARILY OVER
THE CHIRACHAUA MOUNTAINS. THE STORM WAS SHOWING VERY LITTLE MOVEMENT
BUT SEEMED TO BE BUILDING TO THE NORTHWEST.
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
ONE...ON FOOT.  TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAN PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL... AND
VERY HEAVY RAIN.  TAKE PROTECTIVE ACTION IF NEAR SUCH A STORM.
