AT 415 PM EDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM THE GRADY COUNTY/THOMAS COUNTY BORDER SOUTH SOUTHWEST INTO THE GULF FOR 100 MILES. THIS LINE WAS MOVING EAST AT ABOUT 20 MILES AN HOUR WHILE THE INDIVIDUAL THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTH ALONG THE LINE AT ABOUT 20 MILES AN HOUR. PERSONS IN THE VICINITY OF THESE STORMS SHOULD KEEP A WEATHER EYE OUT FOR STRONG GUSTY WINDS...VERY HEAVY DOWNPOURS THAT CAN REDUCE VISIBILITIES...VERY DANDEROUS LIGHTNING STRIKES...AND THE PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS AS TbHESE STORMS CONTINUE MOVING THROUGH THE AREA DURING THE NEXT HOUR.
