...A TORNADO WATCH CONTINUES IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM CDT FPR JACKSON AND
CALHOUN COUNTIES OF THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE...

...A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THE SOUTHWEST GEORGIA COUNTIES OF
SEMINOLE...DECATUR...GRADY...THOMAS AND BROOKS UNTIL 7 PM EDT...

AT 240 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED TWO LINES OF
THUNDERSTORMS 10 MILES APART THAT STRECHED NORTH TO SOUTH FROM EASTERN
JACKSON COUNTY THROUGH CALHOUN COUNTY AND EXTENDED SOUTHWARD INTO THE
GULF FOR 30 MILES.

THE LINES WERE MOVING TO THE EAST AT 10 MPH AND THE INDIVIDUAL
THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTH ALONG THE LINES AT 20 MPH.

RADAR INDICATED THAT THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE PRODUCING STRONG GUSTY
WINDS IN EXCESS OF 40 MPH ALONG WITH HEAVY RAINS AND SMALL HAIL.

PERSONS LIVING IN THE BIG BEND AREA OF FLORIDA AND SOUTHWEST
GEORGIA SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS
THIS AFTERNOON.
