...THUNDERSTORMS WITH GUSTY WINDS MOVING INTO NORTHWEST UTAH...

RADAR AND LIGHTNING DETECTION EQUIPMENT INDICATES A LINE OF
THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING OVER NORTHWEST UTAH.  THE LEADING EDGE OF
THE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDS FROM NEAR MALAD CITY IDAHO...SOUTHWEST TO
NEAR ELY NEVADA.

THE ATMOSPHERE IS RELATIVELY DRY NEAR THE SURFACE.  THIS INCREASES
THE CHANCES FOR GUSTY MICROBURST WINDS WITH ANY OF THE THUNDERSTORMS.
WIND GUSTS OF 40-50 MPH ARE POSSIBLE WITH SOME OF THE STRONGER
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS NORTHWEST UTAH THIS EVENING.

THE LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS IS MOVING EAST AROUND 15 MPH.  SOME OF THE
THUNDERSTORMS AND ASSOCIATED GUSTY WINDS MAY MOVE INTO THE SALT LAKE
VALLEY EARLY THIS EVENING.
