FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS..
 
IN NORTHEAST TEXAS

AT 1125 PM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR IN SHREVEPORT INDICATED A POSSIBLE
TORNADO JUST SOUTH OF SCOTTSVILLE TEXAS OF 15 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
MARSHALL. MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT 20 MPH.

TORNADO WATCH IN EFFECT FOR NORTHWEST AND NORTHCENTRAL LOUISIANA...
SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS AND NORTHEAST TEXAS.

AT 1045 PM CDT THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR IN SHREVEPORT SHOWED
AN AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS LOCATED TO THE NORTH AND WEST OF
A LINE FROM TYLER AND KARNACK TEXAS...ON TO RODESSA LOUISIANA...CANFIELD
...STEPHENS AND PRINCETON ARKANSAS. THE HEAVIEST STORMS WERE LOCATED NEAR
MANNING ARKANSAS...TEXARKANA...ATLANTA...HUGHES SPRINGS...LONE STAR...
AND BIG SANDY TEXAS. ANOTHER THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED NEAR CAMPBELL
TEXAS.

ISOLATED SHOWERS HAD DEVELOPED DURING THE PAST HOUR NEAR FLORIEN AND
MANY LOUISIANA.
THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST AT 20 MILES
PER HOUR.

THE STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS WERE PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL IN
EXCESS OF ONE INCH IN A VERY SHORT TIME...RESULTING IN FLOODING
IN LOW LYING AND FLOOD PRONE AREAS. THESE STORMS WERE ALSO PRODUCING
STRONG WINDS UP TO 45 MILES AN HOUR AND UP TO MARBLE SIZE HAIL.
