AT 210 PM CST THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR IN SHREVEPORT SHOWED
AN AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FROM NEAR MINDEN LOUISIANA TO
HAYNESVILLE ON TO MAGNOLIA AND EL DORADO ARKANSAS. VERY HEAVY RAINFALL...
STRONG GUSTY WINDS...AND HAIL ARE LIKELY. MOVEMENT WAS TO THE EAST AT
25 MPH.

THIS SHOWER ACTIVITY WAS ALONG A COLD FRONT THAT WAS LOCATED AT 2 PM FROM
NEAR EL DORADO ARKANSAS TO SHREVEPORT TO LUFKIN TEXAS. GUSTY WINDS ALONG
THE FRONT OF 25 TO 35 MPH HAVE BEEN REPORTED. TO THE NORTHWEST...TEMPERA-
TURES HAVE BEEN FALLING RAPIDLY WITH TEXARKANA REPORTING 51 DEGREES WHILE
SHREVEPORT HAD A TEMPERATURE OF 76 DEGREES AT 2 PM.

AT 500 PM CST THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR IN SHREVEPORT SHOWED
AN AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER NORTHEAST LOUISISANA. THIS
ACTIVITY WAS EAST OF A LINE FROM BASTROP TO MONROE TO WINNFIELD. STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN WERE LOCATED FROM NEAR RAYVILLE TO
NEAR COLUMBIA. MOVEMENT WAS TO THE EAST SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

THESE STORMS HAVE SHOWN A WEAKENING TREND IN THE PAST HOUR. NO SEVERE
WEATHER WAS INDICATED. THE THREAT OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE OVER NORTH-
EAST LOUISIANA THIS EVENING AND END BY MIDNIGHT. WINDY AND COLDER
TEMPERATURES WILL OCCbUR TONIGHT AS HIGH PRESSURE MOVES IN FROM THE NORTH-
WEST.
