AT 125 AM CST THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR IN SHREVEPORT SHOWED ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS LOCATED 5 MILES WEST OF LONGSTREET LOUISIANA...8 MILES NORTHWEST OF CENTER TEXAS AND 10 MILES SOUTHEAST OF NACOGDOCHES TEXAS. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE PRODUCING GUSTY WINDS TO 35 MILES AN HOUR...BRIEF HEAVY RAINS AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE WITHIN A 70 MILE WIDE AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THAT EXTENDED FROM GLADEWATER TEXAS TO DE RIDDER LOUISIANA. MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST NEAR 35 MPH. ELSEWHERE...PATCHY LIGHT RAIN AND SHOWERS WERE NOTED IN A 60 MILE WIDE AREA THAT EXTENDED FROM NEAR MONTICELLO ARKANSAS TO SOUTH OF ALEXANDRIA LOUISIANA. MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST NEAR 30 MILES AN HOUR. ANOTHER 50 MILE WIDE AREA OF SCATTERED SHOWERS WAS INDICATED FROM NEAR MENA ARKANSAS TO NEAR PITTSBURG TEXAS. MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST NEAR 35 MILES AN HOUR. THE SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP AND SPREAD ACROSS PARTS OF SOUTHERN ARKANSAS...SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA...EASTERN TEXAS AND NORTHERN LOUISIANA FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE NIGHT THROUGH THE DAY WEDNESDAY.
