THUNDERSTORMS ARE DEVELOPING ALONG THE CALIFORNIA/MEXICAN BORDER NEAR DESCANSO AND CAMPO CALIFORNIA. RADAR REPORTS THE MOVEMENT IS TOWARD THE NORTHWEST WITH TOPS OF THE THUNDERSTORMS UP TO 43000 FEET. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR ALL THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS OF SAN DIEGO COUNTY UNTIL 7 PM THIS EVENING. THESE THUNDERSTORMS HAVE THE POTENTIAL FOR LOCAL FLOODING..BRIEF HEAVY RAIN AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING. IF YOUR OBSERVE WATER RUNNING ACROSS THE ROADWAY DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. FURTHER STATEMENTS WILL BE ISSUED AS CONDTITIONS WARRANT. R. STITT
