THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 630 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY

   IN THE SOUTHWEST PART OF MISSOURI
      POLK

AT 540 PM CST RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 30 MILES
NORTHWEST OF SPRINGFIELD MISSOURI...NEAR MASTERS AND STOCKTON
LAKE MOVING NORTHEAST 35 MPH.  THE STORM WILL MOVE OVER ALDRICH...
FAIR PLAY...AND BOLIVAR BY 500 PM.

WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND NEAR WINDOWS.  DO NOT USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.  MOTORISTS
SHOULD AVOID LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
